the preload can be set by the nuts that are used on the U-bolt. if you make the U-bolt by this action longer, the force will be less, if you make it shorter, the connection force will be higher
But the stud still moving after unlocking. What other models that keep the lock fixed in place?
it's a starlock washer, so the stud is fixed in it's place vertical axe way, however it can still be turned, although requires lot's of force, a real fixed stud, can be found in www.spanclamps.com

Jose, gracias por tu reacción. Los insertos te permitirán una reparación y debes usar el tamaño de kit de acuerdo al requerimiento. Entiendo que quieres un solución sin tanto rollo. Sin embargo cada tamaño tiene un kit de reparación adecuado. Un 15 corresponde a un M16 mientras un 14 al M14.

I need about 8 or 10 of these for my Ercoupe cowling. I am tired of using a phillips screwdriver to check my oil. I need them to be oriented into the slipstream. How close do I need to know the metal thicknesses when ordering the fasteners. How are these different from the DZUS fasteners.
a tolerance of 0.05mm is required to know on each of the panel thicknesses, we do have also adjustable receptacles that can solve the job, though very expensive where you have more variability of play, please note that we do not sell to private people though

I guess you are worried about metal chips could go inside of the form holding clamp. The clamp has an o-ring and it prevents chips from going inside. And you should remove metal chips on the jaw by air blow after machining a workpiece is this information helpfull? otherways, please contact us on www.anemo.eu to have this discussion, thanks Bart
They look like some really nice clamps, but you should have really had a professional videographer put this video together for you. The audio is no good, and we got to see more of you than the clamps themselves.
